  • Generally Available: Custom port support for Azure Database for MySQL – Flexible Server
  • Admins can now configure MySQL Flexible Server ports between 25001–26000 for both public and private access, improving integration and security alignment.

  • Generally Available: Azure Firewall updates – Customer provided public IP address support in secured hubs
  • Azure Firewall in Virtual WAN secured hubs now supports customer-provided public IP addresses for more flexible deployments.

  • Generally Available: Firmware analysis enabled by Azure Arc
  • Azure Arc now includes generally available firmware analysis, giving visibility into IoT/OT and network device firmware for better security insights.

  • Retirement: Azure AI Health Insights and related models
  • Azure AI Health Insights, Clinical Trials Matcher, and Radiology Insights models will retire on December 31, 2025.

  • Public Preview: Introducing Vaulted Backup for Azure Data Lake Storage
  • Vaulted Backup for Azure Data Lake Storage is in public preview, enabling off-site backups for ADLS through Azure Backup.

  • Retirement: Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise is retiring on March 30, 2027

  • Basic, Standard, and Premium Azure Cache for Redis tiers retire September 30, 2028; move workloads to Azure Managed Redis before that date.

  • Retirement: Azure Network Policy Manager (NPM) for Windows nodes on AKS to Be Retired by September 30, 2026
  • Azure Network Policy Manager for Windows nodes in AKS will retire September 30, 2026; users should transition to supported alternatives.

  • Generally Available: Azure Firewall Updates – IP Group limit increased to 600 per Firewall Policy
  • Azure Firewall Policy now supports up to 600 IP Groups per policy, easing management and reducing rule list complexity.

  • Generally Avaialbe: Azure NetApp Files short-term clones
  • Azure NetApp Files short-term clones allow instant writable clones from snapshots for development and testing while saving capacity.
